    What information we collect

    What not to send via web/email

    For your privacy, avoid sending:
    • Diagnoses, medications, detailed medical history
    • Highly sensitive substance use details
    • Social security numbers, insurance ID numbers
    • Details about imminent risk or emergencies

    Communication & confidentiality

    Website & standard email
    Website forms and standard email are convenient, but they may not be the most secure method for sensitive communication. Please keep messages general and request a call/text for details.
    Text messaging
    GLPS offers 24/7 peer support by text. Texting is intended for support and coordination. Avoid sharing highly sensitive information by text; request a more secure option if needed.

    Cookies, analytics, and third-party tools

    We aim to minimize tracking technologies, especially on pages where personal information may be entered. If we use analytics tools, we use them to understand general site performance (e.g., page visits) and improve usability.
    Important: If you enter health-related information into a website form, some tracking tools could expose that data to third parties. GLPS does not want you to submit sensitive information through the site.
